Join this tour and learn about the rich culture that the capital of the Emirates has to offer! Abu Dhabi is known as the cultural hub for the UAE with the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque being its center point. The world's largest mosque with a brilliantly white facade has been known to mesmerize its guests since its creation. When you visit this monument you'll learn about the history and the different aspects of Islam. The tour will begin with our guide picking you up from your hotel in Dubai and transporting you to the mosque.

The view of the Grand Mosque showcases the cultural diversity of Islam with modern architecture, encompassing all aspects of the religion. Sivec marble, from North Macedonia, was chosen to encase the Grand Mosque, hence its brilliant white surface. The mosque accommodates thousands of worshippers at a time, which is a sight to behold during Islamic festivals. The entire structure took eleven years to complete and covers over 30 acres of land.

From floor to ceiling there is always something to gaze at, most notably the largest handwoven carpet in the world, measuring around 60,570 sq ft. And above your head, you'll see the third largest chandelier in the world, studded with Swarovski crystals, which adorns the main hall. You'll also witness verses of the Holy Quran in beautiful Arabic calligraphy throughout the mosque. The Sheikh Zayed Mosque is grand in every sense of the word! After a few hours of exploration, you will complete the tour and head back to your hotel in Dubai.

It is not possible to visit the Sheikh Zayed Mosque during any Islamic festivals.
Please note that men and women need to cover their legs and shoulders, shorts or half pants are not allowed for mosque visits.

Instructions

Women must wear long, loose clothing to ensure that their arms and legs are fully covered. Women are also required to cover their heads at all times. A long Abaya with scarf (long black dress attire) will be provided by the tour operator if needed which must be returned back. Men must not reveal any flesh above their knees and their shoulders must be covered. Failure to do so will result in refused entry. Please note, no clothes are provided for men

It is not possible to visit the Sheikh Zayed Mosque during any Islamic festival

The duration of the tour includes the time required for hotel pick-up and drop off

There is a shuttle bus service to the entrance from the main gate of the palace. Guided tours are not permitted inside the Palace

Pickup will be from 8:00 AM and 8:45 AM for the Morning option. Please be ready at the hotel lobby by 8:00AM.

Afternoon tour, the pickup will be from 03:30 PM to 04:15 PM. Please be ready at the hotel lobby by 03:30 PM

Where do we meet and where will the trip end?

Meeting place:

You will be picked up and dropped off at your hotel in central Dubai, Port Rashid cruise terminal, Deira, Bur Dubai, Jumeirah, Business Bay, Trade center, Al Barsha, Al Barsha heights Tecom, JLT, Palm Jumeirah, and Marina. Please let us know the name of your hotel during the booking process.

Meeting place information:

Pick-up from other locations in Dubai is also available upon request with an additional payment depending upon the location. Pickup from Dubai Airport is available from Holiday Inn Express Dubai Airport Hotel, to reach here you can use a local taxi (recommended) or hotel shuttle bus (both are chargeable). Pick-up time will be within 45 minutes of your booked time. You will be notified by WhatsApp, phone call or email if in case of any changes.

Final destination:

Same as the meeting point.

Cancellation Policy - Benevolent

Cancellation more than 4 days prior to the starting date. Clients are automatically refunded the full booking price.
Cancellation within 48 to 96 hours prior to the starting date. Clients are entitled to a 50% refund of the booking price.
Cancellation less than 48 hours prior to the starting date. No refunds.
