If you are new to kayaking then why not join us for a guided descent down the Soča river?

Paired with a certified kayak instructor; you can experience all the fun of kayaking with assistance from an experienced, professional guide.

Your trip route down the Soča will be determined by your instructor, based on water levels and your previous experience in kayaking. There is plenty of fun obstacles for everyone to enjoy on the Soča river and the views across the Slovenian countryside are simply breathtaking, from the turquoise-coloured water to the mighty Triglav mountain that dominates the skyline.

What is included in the price

All necessary kayaking equipment such as: helmet, neoprene suit, anorak, buoyancy aid (PFD) and neoprene shoes
Certified, English-speaking guide
Transportation back to the agency's HQ in Bovec afterwards

Please note that this tour is not wheelchair accessible. This tour is not recommended for pregnant travellers, travellers with back or heart problems or any other serious medical conditions.

Instructions

Please bring ID and your booking reservation. You must be physically-able to swim to do this activity.

This tour requires good weather. If we need to cancel due to poor weather you will be offered a different date or a full refund.

What to take with you?

You will need to bring your own bathing suit and towel. We also advise that you wear a lycra t-shirt or 'rash-guard' to go underneath your PFD (buoyancy aid). We strongly advise that you wear either sunscreen, or a sun hat or scarf from May - August. It can get quite hot here during the summer.
