All about the trip

Join us for an adventure in Koh Yao Noi, known as the “little long island” off the coast of mainland Thailand. Prepare yourself for a biking adventure and witness the peaceful countryside, untouched by modern tourism.

On this full-day 22 km biking tour, you will cycle through lush green rice fields catching a glimpse of local villagers as they work the fields. We will cycle through the tropical jungle filled with tall rubber trees that are indigenous to the land. If you’re lucky you may even be able to spot water buffaloes dozing in mud pools! This scenic tour will connect you to the land and the people, leaving you with an experience you will never forget.

Once we’ve picked you up from your hotel, we will travel to the pier to transfer to the boat. The boat trip offers a scenic tour of about an hour to the island of Koh Yao Noi. Once we’ve arrived at the island we will then embark on our tour. With a sturdy mountain bike, our morning bike ride will cover 12-kilometers both on and off-road. On this part of the journey, we will make stops to see the self-sufficient farms, rice paddies, and rubber plantation.

After we’ve worked up a sweat and hunger, we will make our way to a secluded beach. Our local guide will take you by long-tail boat gliding through the water effortlessly. The beach is the perfect opportunity for rest and recuperation. Surrounded by turquoise water; temperatures of the sea rarely dip below 27̊. You can enjoy a picnic of local Thai delicacies, a swim or a nap in the sun; all the while soaking in the tranquil atmosphere of the island.

Next, we will make leave the beach and travel once again by long-boat, back to our bikes. We will finish up our cycling tour with a 10-kilometer ride along the east coast of the island. Here you will have views of the famous Phang Nga Bay. Halfway between our journey, we will stop at a local palm oil plantation where you can learn how the important cash crop is cultivated.

Lastly, once we’ve finished our tour, we will head back to the boats to take you back to the Bang Rang pier. We will then transfer you back to your hotel where you can rest after a long day of sightseeing, culture, and adventure. We hope to see you soon!
