Beyond the trendy coffee shops and restaurants or just on the outside of them, there are colorful splashes of Chiang Mai's contemporary culture. It used to be called "graffiti," but times have evolved, along with the splashes themselves. Enter Chiang Mai's street art scene, a worldly mix of murals and paintings of all sizes, adding color and concept to the streets and alleyways of this ancient city.

Follow your bicycle guide through a winding, twisting trail through side-streets and hidden paths where contemporary artists have left their mark and made a statement on the walls of their city. The bike ride takes you through mostly neighborhood backroads. There are a few main roads, but we'll navigate them safely. We start in the old city, riding through alleyways and past shophouses, where street artists have left their mark. The ride is on completely flat roads and done at a very leisurely pace so you can take your time and keep an eye out for the art. The tour lasts 4-5 hours, depending on the group size and time spent at each mural.
