The "Etna Tour from Syracuse" experience will begin with Pick-up at your host facility. Once you reach Rifugio Sapienza (1920 meters above sea level), you will have two opportunities: you can choose to do a simple trekking through one of the Etna Park Trails, up to 2000 meters, accompanied by our guide or, alternatively, you can choose the "Etna High Altitude" option.

In this second case, with extra costs to be paid on site, through the Etna Cable Car you will reach an altitude of 2504 meters and then, with special 4×4 off-road vehicles, you will reach the Philosopher's Tower, at an altitude of 2900 meters above sea level. From here you will be able to admire the imposing central crater, the Southeast crater and the historic lava flows that characterize the Etnean landscape, in a scenery suspended over the sea.

Leaving Rifugio Sapienza, the tour will continue to Zafferana Etnea: the city of honey. Here, with costs already included in the price, you can taste typical local products and discover the secrets of honey processing. In the town square-before departing for Syracuse-you can discover some of the typical culinary specialties of the area.
