All about the trip

This tour will take you to the highest active volcano in Europe and the magical town of Taormina. Take it through the ancient village of Zafferana Etnea situated on the southern side of the volcano. Arrive at Rifugio Sapienza, 1900m above the sea level, and enjoy a 1,5-hour walk on the lunar landscape between Silvestri Craters, two inactive craters formed as a result of the Mount Etna eruption in 1892. After the unique volcano adventure, you can look forward to exploring Taormina, the pearl of the Mediterranean. Take a stroll in Corso Umberto and discover the Greek theatre, old churches and monuments, exclusive boutiques, restaurants, and local food shops.
