All about the trip

We will leave Santander towards the mountains of Rionansa. We will go across valleys, forests, and mountains to reach this amazing cave that was discovered at the time when it was used as a mining factory.

El Soplao Cave is considered one of the great wonders of geology, containing an authentic paradise of speleothems (eccentric, stalactites, stalagmites, washes, columns, cave pearls, dog teeth, etc.).

During this tour, we will take you on a guided walking circuit of 1 hour through different galleries which we will access by a small train. This is a very easy and accessible tour for everyone.

After the visit, we will go back to Santander. On our way back, we will do a short stop to enjoy the beautiful views at the viewpoint of Tina Menor, also known as Pechón lookout.
