All about the trip

At the beginning of our trip, we will take about 20 minutes bike ride through the picturesque city center of Ålesund, one of Norway’s most beautiful cities on the west coast.

As soon as we get to the bottom of the Mount Sukkertoppen, also known as Sugar Loaf mountain, we will start our hike up to the top. Summit of the Mount Sukkertoppen is 314 meters above sea level.

It opens magnificent views for the other 3/4 of the hike that we will undergo over the large ridge of Sukkertoppen.

Your reward will be an incredible 360° panoramic view after you have reached the top. You will have an overview over the Sunnmøre Alps to the Southeast, Storfjorden to the East, the North-Sea to the West. You will see the city of Ålesund as if on your palm. Do not forget to take the camera with you, because you can take beautiful photos here. What a great day to see Norwegian nature!
