All about the trip

For more experienced divers, the Coral Gardens Drop-off is a great mix of exciting scenery and interesting terrain.

Located just a few hundred metres from the famous USAT Liberty shipwreck site, the Coral Gardens Drop-off is an exciting shore dive aimed at more-experienced divers.

Together with your instructor, we'll wade-in from the shoreline towards the dramatic Drop-off wall. From there you can then explore the colourful coral wall descending down as deep as you feel comfortable with.

The drop-off itself can reach as deep as 85 metres in some parts, but divers usually stay between 20-40 metres. There is a vast amount of coral, barrel sponges and colourful marine life on the coral wall itself; you will be amazed by what there is to see here. This dive site can also have a reasonable current depending on the tides. As with all our sea dives, you will need diving experience in order to participate on this activity.

You must have diving experience and be physically-able to swim to do this activity.

Instructions

Please bring ID and your booking reservation.

You will need to bring your own bathing suit and towel. Dry clothes to change into afterwards are also needed.

What to take with you?

Please bring your own swimwear. You may also bring a waterproof bag with a towel, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, snacks and any other supplies you may need for the day.
