All about the trip

The town of Pingxi is well-known for its appearance in the romantic movie “You are the apple of my eye”. For the visitors from abroad, the town is special with its cozy atmosphere and early culture of Taiwan.

We will pick you up in the morning in Taipei and then we head directly to Bitou Cape Trail and Nanya rocky shore. Rock climbing and fishing are two extremely popular activities to undertake on Taiwan’s northeast coastline. If you love outdoor adventure, you will be amazed by the rock climbing and beautiful seascapes that open before us.

After that, we will have a lunch break. After refilling our energy we continue to Pingxi railway.

The Pingxi railway was originally built to transport coal. Now it is used for tourists to experience the life that Pingxi’s miners previously led. Later afternoon we will visit Shifen waterfalls, sometimes referred to as “Taiwanese Niagara Falls”. The beauty of the place is legendary.

To finish this perfect day, you can write a wish on a sky lantern and release it to the sky. After, we will take you back to your accommodation in Taipei.
