All about the trip

The legendary Ba Ho waterfalls originate from the top of the Hon Son mountain, flowing all the way down the through the dense jungle and tumbling-down many huge rocks. Like much of Vietnam, the nature here is simply incredible. There is no better way to experience this tropical paradise than by cycling and hiking; it sets the perfect pace to enjoy all the sights.

The tour begins with you being collected from your hotel in an air-conditioned minivan. You will also meet your friendly tour guide for the day who will go over the itinerary and directions with you.

We then start by cycling to Tran Phu street next to the seaside. The cycle ride itself is super easy and very enjoyable. It's actually the perfect way to warm-up those leg muscles ready for the hike to Ba Ho. This route next to the sea will also give you the perfect chance to observe the city and local life.

Our first stop will be the Vinh Luong fishing port. This traditional fishing port is always lively and there will be plenty of opportunities to take some photos here with all the junk boats in the background.

After Vinh Luong, we then leave the bikes in the car and head towards Ba Ho waterfall. Trekking to the top takes approximately one hour. The thick, luscious jungle and rock formations are just simply out of this world. It's no wonder that Ba Ho is talked about with such reverence among travellers. At the end of the trek, you will be rewarded with the chance to swim, relax and maybe jump off a few rocks.

After all this effort, you will no doubt be hungry and be looking forward to some lunch. We will stop at the traditional restaurant to enjoy some local delicacies and reflect on the amazing sights of Ba Ho.

Luckily, our return to the hotel is in the van so you can totally relax on the journey back.

What to take with you?

We recommend that you bring your own additional drinking water, Vietnam is very hot and it is easy to become dehydrated here. We also recommend that you bring sunscreen, your own swimwear, a towel and a small backpack for your personal possessions.
