All about the trip

Join us for this unforgettable cycling and rafting day trip to Nha Trang, it's the perfect trip for those that love enjoying beautiful countryside. Together with your English-speaking guide, we will enjoy over 30 kilometers of uninterrupted downhill cycling; some of the longest anywhere in Vietnam. After cycling, we will enjoy some whitewater rafting on the Cai River. Sounds good right?

Our day of fun begins at 7:30 in the morning with collection from your hotel in Dalat. After arriving at our office we will help fit your bike and helmet for the day. You will also receive a short safety briefing on mountain biking in Vietnam. We will then begin our journey to Nha Trang which takes approximately 45 minutes by van as we drive for 25 kilometers northeast out of Dalat.

Once we reach Bidoup Nui Ba, we will begin our adventure. The first part of the journey is an uphill climb, and although this isn't the nicest way to begin a route, the downhill section that follows it is more than worth it. It's also a great way to warm-up for the day ahead. The last 3 kilometers of the climb will make your legs burn...but fear not because 30 km of serious downhill action awaits you! Trust us, it's some of the best cycling in Vietnam.

Eventually, we will reach the Cai River. Upon arrival, you will be given a two-man inflatable raft and a quick safety briefing. You will then be able to enjoy the grade II-III whitewater rapids with your rafting partner. Don't worry these rapids are not too ruthless, just challenging enough to be enjoyable. At around noon, your guide will take you to a nice lunch spot and here you will enjoy a BBQ picnic in the sunshine. After lunch, we'll jump back into the boats and tackle a couple more sections of these fun rapids, enjoying the fantastic scenery as we float ever closer to Nha Trang. The total distance for rafting is approximately 10 km and approximately 60 km for cycling. When the day is finally finished, you will probably be aching somewhat, but don't worry, we will transport you back to your hotel so you can relax and sleep like a baby!
