Sip on a delicious cup of coffee and learn about the importance of coffee culture in Hungary’s capital city! If you love delicious coffee and great conversation, then this is the tour for you. This two-hour tour offers insight into the traditional customs of Hungary’s favorite pastime. Coffee houses in Budapest are the birthplace of some of the cities most famous artists from the 19th century to the present. On this tour, our local guide will show you the best "hidden gems" in the city. The beautiful blend of Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian culture is best experienced with coffee in hand.

To begin, we will make our way to the Centrál café, Fekete and Szamos cukrászda. At each coffee house, you will learn about the history of what makes coffee culture a vital part of the Hungarian identity. Luckily this tour is not limited to only coffee! We will taste various Hungarian cheeses, cakes, and hot chocolate made by one of the best chocolate manufactures in Hungary. For those of you who prefer something stronger, we will enjoy a glass of wine, locally sourced. This caffeine-fueled tour will seem to fly by but the knowledge you take with you will last a lifetime.
