All about the trip

On this tour, you will see the wonders of the Icelandic nature while driving through the country site and explore the underworld wonders of the Icelandic lava fields by visiting the cave, Leiðarendi.

Leiðarendi (meaning "The End of the Road") is a 900 meter long lava tube offering unique rock formations, such as stalactites and shelves. Some light crawling may be required yet Leiðarendi cave has a rather easy access to the underworld of Iceland.

The Golden Circle tour is the most popular tourist route in Iceland. We will start at the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Þingvellir, where Althing, was established around year 930 AD and at Þingvellir the two continents, Europe and America, meet. We will also visit the geothermally active valley Haukadalur, and see among others the hot spring geysers Geysir and Strokkur. We will also check out the waterfall Gullfoss.

You can rent a GoPro camera from us.

What to take with you?

We will provide you with all the necessary gear required for caving. However, please bring warm clothes suited for the coldness in the cave, good hiking boots, and outer layer that protects from water as it can be wet inside the cave. Also, consider to bring a lunch or a snack.

Itinerary

	Summer departures: From March 1st – October 31st: Pick-up time is between 7:45 and 8:15
	Winter Departures: From November 1st – February 28th: Pick-up is between 8:45 and 9:15

We arrange pick-ups at the hotels in Reykjavik.
Please let us know by during the booking where would you like to be picked up.

Final destination:

Same as the meeting point

Your drop-off address will be the same as your pick-up address.

Cancellation Policy - Benevolent

Cancellation more than 4 days prior to the starting date. Clients are automatically refunded the full booking price.
Cancellation within 48 to 96 hours prior to the starting date. Clients are entitled to a 50% refund of the booking price.
Cancellation less than 48 hours prior to the starting date. No refunds.
