All about the trip

Go beyond the main touristic roads and discover amazing sights of Cappadocia on a tour by Jeep. The wild and fun ride on the road is a non-mainstream adventure which will show you hidden charms of the region. Admire the beautiful nature of Üzengi Valley and explore Gomeda ruins and climb the steep rock to Ortahisar castle to be rewarded by the stunning panoramic view.

There are fascinating dovecotes carved into rocks in Üzengi valley. Some of them with traditional decoration. You will find a mineral water spring here known as Üzengi fountain. Local people believe it can heal gallbladder, digestion and kidney issues.

After visiting Gomeda ruins we climb to Ortahisar castle. The extraordinary example of the rock-cut architecture towers 90 meters high above the city below.

As the day approaches evening we reach the famous sunset point of Kızılçukur and enjoy a spectacular sunset from the Kızılçukur panorama terrace. What a day!

What to take with you?

Please wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes. We recommend to wear shorts, not a skirt that may be inconvenient for the countryside tour. Bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and a camera. In spring and autumn please bring a light jacket or raincoat with you.
