All about the trip

Canyoning at Fratarica Gorge offers serious whitewater thrills for those brave enough to take on the challenge.

This route is aimed more-experienced canyoners, as opposed to our easier canyoning route at Sušec.

To enjoy the Fratarica Gorge canyoning experience, you will need to be comfortable with rope-climbing, wearing a harness and abseiling; as there are 3 large waterfalls to descend down at Fratarica.

So, challenge your fears, confront your boundaries and set your inner-child free. The deep gorge of Fratarica awaits you! On this experience you will of course be taken to all the best spots, something our guides are known for. Your certified, English-speaking instructors will show you how to canyon properly and use our climbing gear before we abseil.

Following a 30min hike up the canyon, a 3hr adrenaline-filled descent awaits you. So, join us for an awesome canyoning adventure among natural rock canyons, emerald green pools, fun rapids and roaring waterfalls.

Please note that this tour is not wheelchair accessible. This tour is not recommended for pregnant travellers, travellers with back or heart problems or any other serious medical conditions.

Instructions

Please bring ID and your booking reservation. You must be physically-able to swim and climb to do this activity. Over 18s only.

This tour requires good weather. If we need to cancel due to poor weather you will be offered a different date or a full refund.

What to take with you?

You will need to bring your own bathing suit and towel. Dry clothes to change into afterwards are also needed.

We also advise that you wear a lycra t-shirt or 'rash-guard' to go underneath your PFD (buoyancy aid). If you want to bring your own water shoes, please make sure they are not 'open-toe' style.

We strongly advise that you wear either sunscreen, or a sun hat or scarf from May - August. It can get quite hot here during the summer.

Cancellation more than 10 days prior to the starting date. Clients are automatically refunded the full booking price.
