All about the trip

Join us for a canyoning adventure in Dalat. This canyoning tour has been designed so that you can push your limits but still enjoy all the beautiful surroundings of the Vietnamese countryside.

Our day of adventure begins at around 8:00 in the morning with collection from your hotel in Dalat.

We then drive through several foggy valleys in order to reach our basecamp. Once at basecamp, you will be equipped with specialized canyoning equipment, such as harnesses, life jackets, helmets, ropes, carabiners, and a wetsuit. All the gear you need for canyoning will be given to you and you will get ready for the adventure that lays ahead. Your English-speaking instructors will then give you a safety briefing on how to canyon safely.

After leaving basecamp, we then hike for 8 km through the jungle to the first spot, an 18 meter high 'dry cliff' for some abseiling practice.

After we've mastered the skill of abseiling and controlling our descending speed down the vertical cliff, you will now be warmed-up for some real canyoning fun!

After abseiling practice, we head further into the jungle to a waterfall that we shall enjoy sliding down before continuing on.

Next up we will be in for one of the most exciting parts of canyoning, water-sliding!

Over thousands of years, the rocks at this part of the river have been slowly eroded and smoothed by the water, making it the ideal spot for us to slide with the water.

After enjoying the waterslide, we will make our way to a 25 meter high waterfall. This obstacle is a very difficult challenge to overcome. It almost seems impossible when you look at it, but if you take the plunge you will soon find that it's conquerable.

Next up after the waterfall is a 7m high jump wall where you can free-jump into a deep pool with no fear of any other obstacles.

Our final obstacle on the route is the aptly-named, 'Washing Machine Waterfall'. Like the names suggests, this waterfall will spin you around, clean your body and wetsuit and then finally spit you out. You'll be left feeling a little discombobulated, but trust us; this is the perfect way to finish the course.

After the 'Washing Machine' and now back on dry land, we will hike back up to the basecamp where we can use the changing rooms to put our dry clothes back on. Afterwards, we will return you back to your hotel, or to the meeting spot, in Dalat.
