All about the trip

Your tour starts at Camp Děčín, where we will hand you a boat, paddles and a dry bag. There will be a short briefing on-site. This trip is a 15 km long pleasant ride and you can reach neighboring Germany in 3 hours. During the tour, you will be amazed by the fabulous Bohemian Switzerland National Park from the water surface in the deepest sandstone canyon in Europe. The handover point is located on the right river bank of the picturesque village of Schmilka, directly at the ferry station. There you can visit a local microbrewery or cafe with breathtaking views.

We recommend the way back by train from the train station on the left bank, where the ferry will take you. Our hint is to plan a walking trip to the most famous natural monument in Bohemian Switzerland - the Pravčice Arch. The route passes through the state border to Hřensko. There starts already a signed walking trail to the Pravčická gate. It's a 7 km long walk, some extra 2,5 hrs added to the trip.

For 2-people trips, we provide you with a 2-seat canoe and for 3-people trips, we provide a 3-seat canoe.
