All about the trip

Early in the morning, our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to start your amazing tour to visit the Great Pyramids of Giza. First, you will visit the pyramid of Cheops which is the only survivor of the Seven Great Wonders of the ancient world. The size of the largest pyramid of Cheops is 137 meters high and measures 230 meters along each side. It was built as a tomb, the shape possibly intended to help the spirit of the dead pharaoh to rise to heaven. We will then will visit the pyramid of Chephren, the best preserved of the three main Giza Pyramids. Beside the pyramid of Chephren, you will see the Great Sphinx, carved out of natural rocky outcrop. Yet its huge lion body is small in comparison to the vast hulks of the pyramids. We will then visit the pyramid of Mykerinus, the smallest of the three pyramids.

We will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and continue our trip by visiting the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. It's the richest museum of Egyptian antiquities in the whole world and contains pharaonic treasures over 5,000 years ago. Treasures from the tomb of Tutankhamun draw the crowds and your visit to Egypt is not complete without seeing them. You can also visit The Royal mummies room (additional cost). After the tour, we will transfer you back to your hotel in Cairo.
