All about the trip

Visit Cairo and see the major sights including Giza pyramids on a day trip by plane from Sharm El Sheikh. Explore the ever intriguing monuments of one of the oldest civilisations, the pyramids of Giza. See the mysterious Sphinx with a lion's body and a human head. And take a boat ride on the river Nile.

The flight from Sharm El Sheikh to Cairo takes 50 min. From the airport, we take a 40-min ride to the National Egyptian Museum of Antiquities housing the pharaoh Tutankhamun's treasure.

Having explored the rich collections of the museum related to the ancient kingdoms and pharaohs we continue to the river Nile. There, we take a boat ride to enjoy a pleasant breeze and panoramic views of the city. We sail to a restaurant on the riverbank where we have our lunch. There is an option of chicken or fish menu including a dessert.

After lunch, we cross the Nile to visit the Giza pyramids. We will see the Great Pyramid of Cheops and the pyramid of Chephren and the pyramid of Mycerinus.

At the end of our tour, we will have some time for shopping for a few souvenirs before the drive to the airport and then back to our hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.
