All about the trip

Visit the city of Bursa nicknamed the God's Gift. Located in northwestern Anatolia it is surrounded by green forests. The city has a rich history of the first capital of the Ottoman Empire. Explore its historical sights including the old silk market. And discover its modern face with ski slopes on the mountain of Uludağ and a big university.

The full-day tour starts early in the morning. We drive to the port and take a ferry to Yalova.

After a 2-hour transfer from Yalova we reach the city of Bursa. It is also called Green Bursa because there are many parks and gardens there as well as rich forests all around it. You can reach Uludağ National Park by a cable-cabin.

First, it's time to explore historical bazaars of the city and the Grand Mosque or Ulu Cami. Then, we drive up the mountain of Uludağ and enjoy our barbecue lunch there.

You can spice up your trip by going on a quad bike ride or taking a minibus to the ski slopes and enjoy some skiing for an extra fee.

We visit the old silk market and learn about Bursa's thriving silk trade during the Ottoman era.
