All about the trip

Leave Prague behind for a day and take a hike in the beautiful countryside of Bohemian Switzerland National Park. See the mysterious Pravčická brána where Narnia movie was shot and enjoy an amazing boat ride on the Kamenice river.

Just a 2-hour ride from Prague there are natural wonders and deep forests of the national park of Bohemian Switzerland.

The first stop on our hike is the largest sandstone arch in Europe: Pravčická brána. You may recognize the sight from Narnia movie which has been shot here.

We enjoy Czech cuisine for lunch in a local restaurant. Then we continue to the heart of the national park which is accessible only by boat.

Narrow sandstone walls form the gorges of the river Kamenice. We walk through several tunnels there and cross narrow bridges before embarking on a river boat that will take us deeper to the national park.

After the boat ride we continue to explore the German part of the national park called Saxon Switzerland. We walk across the famous Bastei Bridge and see the ruins of 12th century rock castle of Neurathen.
