Enjoy a perfect day packed with exciting experiences. Take an early morning hike to the Caldera of Batur to see the splendid sunrise and views of Mount Batur, Mount Ayung and Lombok island. Relax your muscles in a delightful bath in natural hot springs and taste the unique Luwak coffee.

A caldera is a hollow which forms after a volcano empties its magma in an eruption. And the Caldera of Batur is the destination of our hike.

We set off early in the morning and drive to Pulak, the starting point of our hike. We reach the Caldera of Batur in 1 hour just in time to enjoy the breathtaking view of the sunset.

We can take a walk along the rim of the caldera, soak up the atmosphere of the place and savor the fantastic views as far as to Lombok island.

After a refreshing breakfast we descend back to Pulak and continue to Lake Batur. There are several hot springs there and we can immerse in the delightfully warm water to relax after the hike.

Refreshed by the bath we drive to a coffee plantation where we watch a traditional Balinese way of preparing coffee. We taste several of the plantation's final products including Luwak or civet coffee.
