All about the trip

Explore the diverse landscape of Bali on a hike to Banyumala Waterfall. See the scenery changing from farms in lowlands to the dense moss and creepers in the higher altitudes. Visit the attractive mountain resort of Bedugul and experience peace and tranquility at the shores of Lake Bratan.

In the morning we stop at the fruit and flower market at Candi Kuning to stroll through its alleys and see the array of exotic fruit and fragrant flowers.

Then, we take a walk through the rainforest to Banyumala Waterfall. Nearing the waterfall a breathtaking view opens in front of us. We will see springs running down over steep rocks and in between lush green vegetation into the pool below.

We continue to the mountain resort of Bedugul with the main sights of the Pura Ulun Danu Bratan water temple and the Bali Botanic Garden. The major Hindu water temple dedicated to Shiva lies on the shores of Lake Bratan.

Our last stop is the Jatiluwih village with beautiful rice terraces watered by a sophisticated irrigation system which is listed by UNESCO as a part of the world's cultural heritage.
