Along with Angkor Wat, you may wish to also visit Banteay Srei whilst you are in Cambodia.

Entrance to Banteay Srei is included in the Angkor Wat pass, so it makes sense to visit Banteay Srei after seeing Angkor Wat.

Banteay Srei is also known as 'The Lady Temple' because the carvings are so beautifully detailed, delicate and ornate. It's really like a lady's hand has carved it.

The temple is located approximately 30 minutes from Siem Reap. You will see a bit of the gorgeous countryside along the way. It's a good idea to make most of your time in Cambodia and combine the grand tour with a visit to this beautiful temple.

On your way to Banteay Srei you will pass the Palm Sugar Village and the Landmine museum. Please ask your driver to make a stop here if you wish.

Banteay Srei or Banteay Srey is a 10th-century Cambodian temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. Located in the Angkor area, it lies near the hill of Phnom Dei, 25 km north-east of the main group of temples that once belonged to the medieval capitals of Yasodharapura and Angkor Thom.

2. Three visits per one week pass: $62

3. Seven visits per one month pass: $72

A mugshot photo is required for visiting Angkor Wat.

What to take with you?

It’s important to note that at Angkor Wat, there is a dress code that must be abided by. You’ll need to wear clothing that covers your shoulders and knees.

The sun is likely to be quite strong, so it makes sense to wear light clothing, bring a hat, and decent walking shoes. You may also wish to pack a light raincoat as weather is famously erratic here.
