All about the trip

Explore the heart of Bangkok’s business-districts on less busy routes. Once your bike is ready, make a stop at a typical local temple, ride along the train-graveyard and through slum areas before you reach the biggest daily fresh-market, Talad Klong Toey. Park your bicycle and take a stroll in the aisles full of inviting smells and colors.

After the market, cross the always traffic-congested Rama IV Road and arrive at Queen Sirikit Convention Center and the tranquil Benjakitty Park, where you will have a break to relax.

Continue the ride along the Tobacco Monopoly and smell the unique scent of tobacco leaves. A little further, pass one of the most expensive streets of Bangkok “Thanon Witthayu,” where many embassies are located. It also has an entrance to the famous, “Central park of Bangkok,” Lumpini Park. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the center and watch the locals doing their Tai Chi or Yoga practice. If you are lucky, you can even spot common visitors to the park, huge monitor lizards.

Finish the tour with a culture ride through small communities as you head back to the office.

Instructions

This tour does not get canceled due to rain. Based on our vast experience, we know that heavy rains rarely last more than 20 minutes and our guides know places along the routes to shelter. If it’s raining a little, we provide our clients with a poncho and cycle on.

What to take with you?

We recommend you to wear comfortable cotton clothing, closed shoes and a hat. Please bring sunscreen, camera, sunglasses and ideally a belt-bag for your valuables.
