All about the trip

Focused on sustainability, Bali is home to some of the world’s most forward-thinking buildings and Green Village is one of the island’s most famous. A majestic bamboo house, Green Village Bali is a master-planned compound perched on the edge of a river valley. Operating sustainably, Green Village is home to 13 houses that are a true feast for the eyes.

We are greeted with a welcome drink as we start in the communal dining area. Enjoy time on your own to explore the on-site bamboo forest and permaculture garden. We then join our guide inside the compound’s two biggest houses for a 1-hour tour. The highlight is the showcasing of how black and white bamboo can be combined to create a stunning collection of luxurious floors, walls, ceilings, stairs and railings. Even the roofs are an innovative arrangement of bamboo shingles! We then continue with lunch.

Before you leave the grounds, you are presented with a bamboo bracelet as a departure gift to remind.
