All about the trip

Via Ferrata is the most fun and easiest way to climb the mountains. This one is simply incredible since you'll be climbing on the walls surrounding the beautiful Lake Garda! The Via Ferrata of Balconi sul Garda is one of the most extraordinary routes around Garda Lake with some 2 km-long route built in stone over the lake. This Via Ferrata requires technical skills and a bit of knowledge since it's a real alpine trail. Your guide will help you cross the obstacles, brief you and teach you some new skills. Balconi sul Garda is also known as the smugglers' path and you can guess how it was used. This unique route is probably the most beautiful one you can do in Trentino with a unique view of the lake.

What to take with you?

We recommend to bring a small light backpack, water, snacks, sneakers or hiking shoes (no sandals) and a windbreaker.
