All about the trip

Experience an evening in our jeep while exploring the area near Isafjordur and searching for the northern lights. We will drive away from the town lights to areas where it might be possible to see the elusive and spectacular northern lights. Moreover, the west fjords are prime Arctic Fox territory, so it would not be surprising to catch a glimpse of one in the beam of our headlights or hear them in the dark night. What does a fox say?

Please note that there is no guarantee of a northern lights sighting but we will try our very best for the tour to be a success.

What to take with you?

Don't forget to take your camera! We also recommend to take warm clothing, good hiking shoes and crampons in case of icy conditions.

Where do we meet and where will the trip end?

Meeting place:

We arrange pick-ups at the hotels in Isafjordur. Please let us know by email (info@ibctravel.is) where would you like to be picked up.

Final destination:

Your drop off address will be the same as your pick-up address.

Cancellation Policy - Medium

Cancellation more than 10 days prior to the starting date. Clients are automatically refunded the full booking price.
Cancellation within 4 to 10 days prior to the starting date. Clients are entitled to a 50% refund of the booking Price.
Cancellation less than 4 days prior to the starting date. No refunds.
