Visit the second biggest Roman city and see the remnants of the fascinating Library of Celsus, the huge open-air theatre and one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World – the Temple of Artemis. Admire the sights at your own pace on a private tour.

Our driver and guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kusadasi, Selcuk, İzmir (extra fee) or ADB airport. We begin with a ride through a beautiful lush countryside until we reach the House of Virgin Mary. The mother of Jesus spent her last years in the modest house. To feel the energy of a place Virgin Mary once inhabited is an intense experience.

We continue to the city of Ephesus. Seeing its ruins you can get the idea of its original splendor. The terrace houses with their amazing interior decorations show the lifestyle of the wealthy.

The Temple of Artemis is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and it took 120 years to build with 100 marble pillars supporting its roof. The impressive facade of the Library of Celsus is a proof of magnificent architecture as well as the open-air theatre built for 25 000 people. In the city there were also 2 Agoras (or markets), several bath complexes and an advanced aqueduct.

You can also see the tomb of John the Apostle here in the Basilica of St. John. Our tour comes to our final highlight which is a visit to the Selcuk Ephesus Museum to see some amazing Ephesus artifacts.

Our driver will then take you back to your hotel.
