All about the trip

According to us, the Giant Mountains have the ideal terrain for the first steps with mountain skis. You will discover the unique cabins on the ridges and you will be surrounded by untouched and wild nature.

We are available weekends, even weekdays which we prefer, as you can truly enjoy the peaceful nature of the Giant Mountains. During the tour, we will explain ski alpinism and principles of safe behavior on the hike. We will also provide a short training with avalanche search device. You can also borrow mountain ski equipment: skis, sticks, shoes and belts.

Instructions

Mandatory equipment for this tour is a helmet (climbing or skiing), ski glasses and sunglasses, headlamp and a first aid kit.

What to take with you?

We recommend to take some spare clothing, gloves, hat and scarf.

Itinerary

1	We will meet in the morning at Pec pod Sněžkou, where you will get your equipment.
2	We will start our trip with climbing to the cabin Výrovka through Široký hřbet, where you will get a snack and a short rest.
3	Then we will downhill to Modrý důl with a coffee break at restaurant Bouda pod Sněžkou.
4	After resting time we will continue to Obří důl to Obří cabin.
5	Depending on the weather, we will climb to the peak of Sněžka by skis, foot or with cats which you can rent.
6	From the top, we will downhill to Růžohorky, through Děčínská cabin and back to Pec pod Sněžkou.

Meeting place information:

Meeting point is in front of HUDY sport shop at 9:00. In case your own equipment we can meet at 8:30 at start of lift to the Sněžka peak.
