All about the trip

The Botanic Park of the Alcantara gorges is a must if you are visiting Sicily. Almost 50 meters high, the gorges are a real canyon created by ancient lava cooled down by the cold water of the Alcantara River. The little beach is open as long as the weather conditions and water level allow access. During the fall and winter period, the rain is too strong for a visit.

After the refreshing time in nature, continue to Taormina, the "pearl of the Mediterranean," through Catania Gate. Take a stroll in Corso Umberto, the ancient Roman road "Valeria," and discover the charm of the Greek theatre, old churches, monuments, exclusive boutiques, and shops with local products.
