This tour connects 3 Balkan countries, its capital cities and the most interesting parts. Traveling from the south part of the Adriatic sea in Albania to the highest Balkan peak in Bulgaria and visiting the most interesting places and signs at this part of Europe.

What is included in the price

Pick up from Tirana airport
Private transportation with air conditioned vehicle according the itinerary;
Drop-off at Sofia airport or any other location within city of Sofia;

Itinerary

DAY 1: Welcome to Albania
	Meeting with your driver and tour escort at Tirana airport. In the afternoon private guided Tirana tour. Overnight in Tirana, hotel Mondial 4* or similar.
DAY 2: Albanian landmarks
	Morning drive towards Durres, the biggest Albanian port. Visit to the Roman theater and the tower. Drive further to Berat. The city is known also as “the city of 1000 windows” and today is an UNESCO site. Visit to the castle and Onufri museum. Overnight Berat, hotel Grand White city 4* or similar.
DAY 3: Welcome to Macedonia
	Departure towards Macedonia with stop at Elbasan. Drive along Ohrid lake coast from Albanian side. Border crossing and afternoon visit to St Naum monastery, with unforgettable boat ride above the springs of Black Drim river. Overnight at hotel Millenium palace Ohrid 4* or similar
DAY 4: Ohrid and Ohrid lake
	Ohrid walking tour in a morning (half day private guided tour, entrance fees included). Visit to the most important Ohrid sites - The Ohrid fortress (inside) the Holly area of Plaosnik with new St Klement’s church (inside) the small church of St John in Kaneo (outside) and the cathedral church of St Sofia (inside. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at hotel Millenium palace Ohrid 4* or similar.
DAY 5: Full day Bitola and Prespa lake tour
	Drive towards Bitola and private city tour the main square, the Turksih bazaar, passing tow mosques and the town symbol - the Clock tower. Visit to Heraclea Lynkestis ancient site. Afternoon drive towards second largest Macedonian lake Prespa. Crossing Galichica National park and arrival to Ohrid. Overnight at hotel Millenium palace Ohrid 4* or similar.
DAY 6: West Macedonia sights
	Passing the city of Struga and the place where river Black Drim is flowing out of the lake. Drive along the river and visit to the Monastery St.Jovan Bigorski (18th century). Passing Mavrovo NP and afternoon arrival in Skopje. Overnight in Skopje, hotel Ibis Center 4* or similar.
DAY 7: Skopje and its surroundings
	Full day private tour - morning visit to Matka valley and Treska lake near Skopje. Possibility for optional boat trip to the entrance of one of the deepest underwater caves in Europe. Afternoon Skopje city tour will be done by walking in the Skopje bazaar and the new part of the city, with visit to the Memorial house of Mother Teresa. Overnight in Skopje, hotel Ibis Center 4* or similar. .
DAY 8: Land of wine
	Drive towards the biggest wine region in Macedonia. On the way, visit to Stobi ancient site. Visit to a local winery where you will be invited for lunch and wine tasting. Afternoon drive towards Bulgaria. O/N in Sandanski, hotel Sandanski 4* or similar.
DAY 9: Sandstone pyramids and Rila monastery
	The scenery of the mystical Sandstone pyramids by the morning sun combined with a visit to the Rila Monastery are topics for today. Afternoon arrival in Sofia, Bulgarian capital. Overnight in Sofia, hotel BW Thracia or similar.
DAY 10: Departure
	Time at leisure before transfer to Sofia airport. End of the tour.

Cancellation Policy - Strict

Cancellation more than 30 days, prior to the starting date. Clients are automatically refunded the full booking price.
Cancellation within 30 to 10 days prior to the starting date. Clients are entitled to a 50% refund of the booking price.
Cancellation less than 10 days prior to the starting date. No refunds.
