All about the trip

We will arrange Complimentary pick-up from your Kuala Lumpur hotel at 12 pm and depart to see the adorable elephants. Due to deforestation and illegal wildlife trafficking, they have become an endangered species. Hence the setup of the Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary in 1989 for continuous conservation, protection, public awareness and education. Orphaned elephants are later released into bigger and safer jungle reserves. You can feed the elephants and make some photos here.

Visit the iconic Batu Caves. Climb 272 steps up to the temple of the Hindu deity honored during Thaipusam.

Take a rural drive to Kuala Selangor – a fishing village and to Bukit Melawati that houses an old abandoned fort, lighthouse, and 3 royal graves of sultans. It is also a home of the Silvered leaf monkey – a very graceful and adorable primate that forages for food in the hills. They will clamber all over you if you have food in your hands. This is a great photo shoot opportunity. After a frolicking time with the monkeys, adjourn to a riverside restaurant for a sumptuous seafood dinner.

Catch a boat for an exhilarating ride at dusk to watch dazzling fireflies. A fascinating sight to behold as cruise along the mangrove trees.

Return transfer to Kuala Lumpur will be at approx. 9 pm.
