Itinerary

DAY 1: From Skopje to Bitola, via Tikvesh wine region
	Spend the morning with our experienced and professional tour guide in strolling. Skopje city center and Skopje Old Bazaar. Pass across river Vardar on historical Stone bridge. Visit Mother Teresa memorial house (inside) and the place where she was born in 1910. Have a traditional lunch, tasting some local dishes.
	Afternoon drive towards central part of the country and Tikvesh wine region. Stop by Stobi ancient site from 1st century AD. Arrival at local winery where you will be invited for wine tasting followed by local snacks. Later on drive towards Bitola.
	Accommodation and overnight in Bitola.
DAY 2: From Bitola to Ohrid via Galichica National park
	Morning private Bitola walking tour and later on visit to Heraclea ancient site near Bitola. Drive towards Prespa lake and on the narrow road across Galichica National park, with spectacular views of both Prespa and Ohrid lakes. In the afternoon arrival to Ohrid. Evening at leisure and possibility tovisit some of many local restaurants by the lake.
	Overnight in Ohrid.
DAY 3: Ohrid and Ohrid lake - UNESCO sites
	Start the walking (2-3 hours light walking) tour with our experinenced guide in Ohrid Old town.
	Because of the religious importance and its numerous churches and monasteries, Ohrid is also famous under the name “Macedonian Jerusalem”. According the history facts, there used to be 365 churches - a church for each day! Since 1979 the city and the lake of Ohrid are under protection of UNESCO. Do not miss to have a nice panoramic picture from Ohrid fortress (inside) and to visit remains of the first Slavic university in the Balkans, today founded at Holy area of Plaoshnik (inside). Go inside the recently rebuild Church of St Clement (inside). Pass by the unique church of St. John - Kaneo (from outside). Enjoy a boat ride from Kaneo with panoramic view of Old town (included). Finally, visit to the cathedral church from 10th century, St. Sofia (inside). You can have a lunch at some of many traditional restaurants by Ohrid lake.
	In the afternoon, light drive along the lake coast to visit another pearl located on the south part of the lake - St. Naum monastery complex.As final surprise - you can have an unforgettable 40 minutes boat ride above the springs of Black Drim river (optional, could be paid on the spot) Drive back to Ohrid for overnight.
DAY 4: Back to Skopje via Mavrovo National park
	Morning visit to Struga, the secnd biggest town in Ohrid lake and visit to the place where river Black Drim flows out of the lake. Drive along lakes made by this river and arrival to Mavrovo National park.
	Later on drive on a picturesque road along Radika river, passing many traditional villages on the way.
	Arrival in Skopje in the afternoon.

Cancellation more than 30 days, prior to the starting date. Clients are automatically refunded the full booking price.
Cancellation within 30 to 10 days prior to the starting date. Clients are entitled to a 50% refund of the booking price.
Cancellation less than 10 days prior to the starting date. No refunds.
