All about the trip
Day 1: KUALA LUMPUR – CAMERON HIGHLANDS (Recommended hotel Strawberry Resort)
At around 7 am we will arrange complimentary pick-up from your Penang hotel and depart for Cameron highlands. En route we will visit tea plantations for a photo shoot. Cameron Highlands is a hill resort with large tea plantations, farmlands, aborigines, and cool temperatures. Tea Plantations are popular with visitors and they also work closely with WWF in animal conservation. The plantations date back to 1885. You can sip tea seated on an elevated tea café and watch the green rolling hills. Take a stroll through the vegetable market to see various products of the Camerons. Check-in to the hotel and have a dinner.
DAY 02 CAMERON HIGHLANDS – TAMAN NEGARA (Recommended hotel Xcape Resort)
At 8.00am we will depart for Taman Negara. Taman Negara is a 130 million years old tropical rainforest, home to many endangered animals like tigers, elephants, and tapirs. You can see 14,000 species of plants, as well as 300 bird species. We will visit the Canopy walkway, see river rapids, do some jungle trekking, do night walking, and visit the Aborigines village. You can see aboriginal fire-making and hunting tools for a native demonstration. You can partake in fire-making and blowpipe demonstration. The experienced nature guide who lives in Taman Negara will belt out facts, and taboos about Taman Negara during jungle trekking. Check-in the hotel. night tour with a nature guide to look for scorpions, insects and watch nocturnal animals.
DAY 03 TAMAN NEGARA – KUALA LUMPUR (Recommended hotel Traders)
We will leave around 10.00 am after breakfast. Our next waypoint will be Kuala Lumpur and Batu Caves. Climb 272 steps up to the temple of Hindu deity honored during Thaipusam. In Kuala Lumpur visit the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Jamek Mosque, Old Railway Station, National Mosque, and Pewter & Batik educational tour. Photo shoots in Chinatown, Little India. Kuala Lumpur is a melting pot of diverse cultures – Malays, Chinese and Indians. It was founded as a tin mining settlement. We will dop you off at your hotel at approx. 6 pm.
